Ray Dumasia is a Senior Software Engineer at Roku Inc. since January 2017, with a passion for pushing technological boundaries through a variety of engineering tasks, including hardware diagnostics, software issue resolution, and automation. Prior to Roku, Ray served as a Principal Software Engineer (QA) at Software AG in the Apama division, where responsibilities spanned project analysis, test infrastructure, and test automation. Previous positions include Principal QA Engineer and Senior Software/QA Engineer at Progress Software, and Principal Software Engineer at RiskAware, engaging in various roles for R&D projects in the defense sector. Early career experiences as a Software Engineer at Amino Communications involved embedded systems development. Ray holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science with Mathematics from the University of Bristol. A significant yearlong global trip in 2006-2007 enriched Ray's personal and professional perspective.
