Burak Yüksel is an accomplished SW Architect at Rohde & Schwarz, focusing on software architecture for advanced connectivity units in aviation since February 2024. Previously, Burak served as Head of Flight Control and Navigation at Volocopter GmbH, leading technical initiatives for unmanned and manned aircraft systems from January 2018 to January 2024. Burak also held various roles at Volocopter, including Aircraft Systems Architect for the VoloRegion project and Senior Flight Control Engineer. Burak's career began with foundational experience as a Development Engineer at ITK Engineering GmbH and extensive academic involvement, culminating in a Ph.D. in Control Engineering from the University of Stuttgart. Additionally, Burak obtained another Ph.D. in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Université de Toulouse - INSA, alongside a Master's Degree in Control Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Kocaeli University.
