Hector Cantu has worked in various roles in the construction industry. Hector began their career as a Project Engineer Intern at Construccion y Mantenimiento S.A de C.V. in 2015. Hector then worked as a Project Engineer at 1718architecture from February to June 2016. Following that, they joined Aedificium DesignBuild as a Project Engineer from August 2016 to February 2017.
Hector then transitioned into a role as an Assistant Project Manager at DD&B Construction, Inc. from February 2017 to August 2018. Hector continued in the same company but with an elevated position as an Assistant Project Manager from August 2018 to May 2019.
In 2019, Hector joined Namvar Construction Company, LLC as a Project Manager and remained in that position until June 2022. Currently, they work at Rogers-O'Brien Construction as an Assistant Project Manager starting from June 2022.
Hector Cantu obtained their Bachelor of Engineering - BE degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey in the year 2010. Hector then went on to attend The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2011 to 2016, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Construction Science & Management. In May 2015, Hector also obtained a certification in 30-hour Construction Safety and Health from OSHA Training USA.
