Marc Newey CCE FCIMSPA is the Chief Executive at Roehampton Club, where they have overseen operations for 17 years and have been instrumental in upgrading sporting facilities and earning multiple accolades, including UK Sports Club of the Year for 2022 and 2023. They began their career managing sports and leisure clubs in 1983 and have held several key positions, including Director of Golf and Leisure at Whitbread and General Manager at Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club. Marc is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity and has been recognized with Certified Chief Executive status by the Club Managers Association of America. They are also a former President of the Club Managers Association of Europe and have contributed significantly to the development of young club managers through the European Club Education Foundation. Marc graduated with a 2:1 degree from De Montfort University.
