Alicia Smith is a Junior Propulsion Development Engineer at Rocket Lab since November 2023, following a role as a Propulsion Development Intern. Prior experience includes engineering internships at Dawn Aerospace, focusing on spaceplane propulsion and in-space propulsion from November 2022 to October 2023. At the University of Canterbury, Alicia served as Team Lead for the Spaceport America Cup Team and held the position of President within UC Aerospace from November 2021 to September 2023. Additionally, Alicia contributed as a Mechanical Engineering Tutor at the University of Canterbury from July 2022 to November 2022. Alicia holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Canterbury, completed in 2023.
