Kevin Hsu has worked in various engineering and product roles since 2008. In 2008, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Harvey Mudd College, where they built Windows-based simulation tools to investigate the plausibility of large scale fiber optic interconnection networks. In 2009, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Superior Communications, where they standardized and implemented new testing procedures in the development lab. In 2010, they worked as a Software Engineer at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, where they were responsible for developing, testing, and releasing various features for the MQ-9 Reaper control station. In 2012, they worked as an Optimization Engineer at AppNexus, where they developed various ETL jobs on top of the AppNexus Vertica, Netezza, and MySQL data stores. From 2013 to 2019, they worked at Waypoint Media (later acquired by FanAI), where they were Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer. During this time, they spearheaded Waypoint's strategic shift from multi-channel network and media services company into an SaaS data platform, engineered industry leading technology for profiling streaming video audiences, and closed key clients in both the video platform and data services space. In 2019, they began working at Rockerbox as an Engineering/Product/Client.
Kevin Hsu attended La Cañada High School before completing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering: Digital Electronics and Control Systems from Harvey Mudd College in 2010.
