Kurt Allemeier is an experienced communications professional with a background in journalism and social media management. Currently serving as a Social Media Associate at Rock Island Auction Company since October 2021, Kurt previously worked as a Content Development Specialist for the City of Davenport, Iowa, where responsibilities included managing social media communications and handling media inquiries. As a reporter for Quad-City Times and The Dispatch and The Rock Island Argus, Kurt gained recognition for delivering accurate and engaging news coverage, including breaking stories and human-interest features. Kurt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Birmingham-Southern College and has academic experience at The University of Kansas.
