Normand Despres is an experienced executive in the field of clinical operations and biometrics, currently serving as Vice-President of Clinical Operations and Biometrics at Roche Molecular Solutions since May 2011. In this role, Normand oversees global operational activities, including clinical project management, across multiple sites in the US and Europe. Prior to Roche, Normand held positions such as Sr. Director of Global Clinical Operations at Siemens Healthineers and Director of Clinical Affairs at Bayer Diagnostics. Normand's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Université de Sherbrooke, supplemented by a Research Fellowship in Molecular Biology at Massachusetts General Hospital, and a Master's degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a focus on Microbiology, both from Université de Sherbrooke.
