Jérémie Canonica

Post Doctorate Scientist In The Pharma Research & Early Development (pred) Department at Roche

Jérémie Canonica, PhD, currently serves as a Post Doctorate Scientist in the Pharma Research & Early Development (pRED) department at Roche since February 2020. Prior to this role, Jérémie Canonica worked as a Research Scientist - Postdoctoral Fellow at Fondation Asile des Aveugles and Hôpital ophtalmique Jules-Gonin from February 2016 to June 2019, focusing on the role of mineralocorticoid receptor activation in retinal diseases. Academic experience includes a PhD Fellow position at the University of Lausanne from September 2009 to January 2016, investigating sodium and potassium transport regulation concerning mineralocorticoid and glucocorticoid receptors. Earlier positions include a Graduate Research Assistant during a Master's program and a Research Internship in biochemistry, contributing to studies on ion transporters and Leishmania, respectively. Jérémie Canonica holds a PhD in Life Sciences with a minor in Nephrology, a Master of Science in Medical Biology, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from institutions in Switzerland.
