Yu Ding is a founding member at RoboForce since June 2023, contributing in a stealth mode capacity. Prior to this, Yu served as a software engineer at Waymo from July 2019 to June 2023, working on the development of self-driving cars. Yu's experience includes roles as a research assistant at Carnegie Mellon University from October 2017 to December 2018, and as a computer vision engineer intern at NEAR EARTH AUTONOMY during the summer of 2018. Additionally, Yu's research background spans two research assistant positions, one in computer science at Tsinghua University from September 2015 to July 2017 and another in neurology at UCLA during the summer of 2016. Yu holds a Master of Science in Computer Vision from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor¡¯s Degree in Automation from Tsinghua University, alongside an educational background at The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China.
