Philip Langdale is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in leading and architecting software solutions. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at Airtable since January 2020, Philip previously held the role of Principal Software Engineer II at Cloudera from December 2010 to December 2019, where key responsibilities included leading the design and architecture for the Shared Data eXperience (SDX) within the Cloudera Data Platform and overseeing projects in cloud service architecture. Prior to Cloudera, Philip contributed as a Senior Staff Engineer at VMware, Inc., focusing on Linux UI development. Philip began a professional career with internships at IBM Pervasive Computing and IBM Extreme Blue. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Philip holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
