Bonnie Chin is a Design Engineering Intern at Spatial, specializing in designing platforms for interactive social and gaming experiences in the metaverse since May 2023. Bonnie has also been a Product Designer for UW Blueprint, focusing on digitizing math assessments for over 260,000 students annually, and held roles as a Full Stack Developer at Zynga and a Software Engineer Intern at Kiavi, where Bonnie led development strategies for a UX overhaul impacting 140,000+ users. Other notable experiences include a Research Lead position at Tech+ UW, directing DEI initiatives, and an Experience Design Intern role at Konrad Group, refreshing a marketing site for a major payment processor. Bonnie's earlier achievements include leading design and brand efforts for Youth Helping Youth, establishing a presence among 4,700 followers, and serving as a UI/UX Designer for Mindly. Bonnie is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in HCI and a minor in Psychology at the University of Waterloo.
