Carlos Zúñiga R. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and development, teaching, and project leadership across various technology sectors. Currently, Carlos serves as Director de investigación y desarrollo at Robiotec and as a professor in the Mecatrónica program at Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral. Carlos has held significant roles, including Jefe de investigación y desarrollo at Grupo Minero Bonanza, where leadership included managing teams and overseeing projects in deep learning, autonomous vehicles, and solar energy systems. Previous positions include project leadership in defense systems development at ASTINAVE E.P. and founding a technology center for electronic musical equipment repair.
