Dan Mitchell is currently the Operations Manager North America Business at Robert Bird Group. Prior to this, Dan Mitchell worked as a Student Structural Engineer at WorleyParsons from November 2010 to February 2011. During their time there, Dan quickly integrated with the international and corporate culture, and completed original concrete slab design and traffic design calculations using British Standards. Dan also drafted, checked and submitted project design changes, and composed design reports.
From June 2008 to December 2012, Dan worked as Senior Clubhouse Attendant at The Royal Sydney Golf Club. And from March 2008 to December 2019, Dan was the Founder, Owner and Managing Director of HSC Edge Tuition - a home-grown high school tutoring business which they grew to a team of twelve tutors, with an annual gross revenue of $100k AUD. As Founder, Dan's role took a holistic overview of the business, which included student and tutor scheduling, monitoring student progress, developing tailored lesson plans and invoicing. Dan also engaged with a graphic designer, IT developer and digital marketing consultant to implement an effective marketing plan.
Dan Mitchell has a Master of Commerce from the University of Sydney with majors in International Business and People, Management and Organisations. Dan also has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) with Honours in Civil Engineering from UNSW.
Their manager is Jason Beutel, CEO. They are on a team with Sam Cooper - Principal, Australia North Region, James Deane-Butcher - General Manager (Adelaide), and Jason Langer - Group Managing Director, Projects.
