Kathryn Vanness

Kathryn Vanness has extensive experience in financial management and operations, currently serving as Financial Projects Advisor and previously holding roles including Assistant Vice President of Finance and Budget and Director of Finance and Budget at Roanoke College since September 2010. Prior experience includes Chief Operating Officer at Jefferson Center Foundation, Ltd. from December 2004 to August 2010 and Assistant Executive Director of Finance and Human Resources at Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline Council from 1997 to 2004. Kathryn began a career at Greater Roanoke Transit Company (Valley Metro) from 1987 to 1997, holding various leadership positions. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Business Administration from Averett University and a BBA with a double major in Business and Economics from Roanoke College.
