Göktuğ Erce Gürel has over six years of work experience in various roles. Göktuğ Erce began their career in 2015 as a Mobile Application Development Intern at Turkcell Technology Research and Development. Göktuğ Erce then worked as a Software Developer at KNS IT Solutions, where they used JavaScript and Python as primary programming languages. In 2017, they worked as a Data Science and Analysis Engineer at Arcelik Group. In 2018, they worked as a Full Stack Developer at Göztepe Spor Kulübü, where they built entire technical stack from the ground up. Göktuğ Erce then worked as a Software Developer at Holidu, where they integrated partner feeds for Holidu.com. In 2019, they worked as a Full Stack Web Developer at Deliv, where they led the development of an automated model for finding available drivers for deliveries. Finally, they are currently working as a Full Stack Developer at Roadie and as a Full Stack Developer at byways.

Göktuğ Erce Gürel completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at Boğaziçi University from 2011 to 2017. Göktuğ Erce then studied Computer Science at Utrecht University from 2014 to 2015. Finally, they obtained a Master's degree in Data Engineering and Analytics from the Technical University of Munich from 2017 to 2019.
