Amy Westergren is a highly experienced legal professional specializing in healthcare and regulatory matters. Currently serving as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Ro since January 2019, Amy has held various roles at the company, progressing from Regulatory Counsel to Senior Director, Associate General Counsel. Prior to Ro, Amy was an Associate at Cooley LLP, where advisory work focused on life sciences and health privacy regulations. Early career experiences include serving as a Law Clerk at the Harris County Attorney's Office and a Judicial Intern at the Fourteenth Court of Appeals. Amy's foundation in healthcare also includes roles as a Clinical Research Associate at Memorial Hermann Hospital and Program Coordinator for The Arthritis Foundation. Academically, Amy holds a Doctor of Law from the University of Houston Law Center, an M.S. in Bioethics from Union College, and a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Houston.
