Janet Cooper OBE is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in governance, remuneration, and employee engagement across various sectors. Currently serving as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at The Nurture Landscapes Group and as an Independent Director at the Cabinet Office, Janet also holds multiple prominent positions within the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), including Vice President and acting Chair. As a co-founder of the Global Equity Organization and former Chair of ProShare, Janet has dedicated efforts to promote best practices in global equity plans. Additional roles include Vice Chair of Council at the University of Roehampton, founder of Tapestry Compliance LLP, and contributions to organizations such as AFME and UN Women. Janet has gained educational credentials from institutions including London Business School, Harvard Business School Executive Education, and the University of Leeds, where a law degree was obtained.
