Mohamed Omer currently serves as the R&D Director of Innovation at RNA Corporation since November 2023 and co-founded Sudan NextGen, a nonprofit organization focused on advancing Sudan's development. Previously, Mohamed Omer held the position of Chief Scientific Officer at NaturAll Club until November 2023 and served as the R&D Hair Category Manager at Revlon from December 2016 to June 2018. Other notable roles include Associate Vice President of Strategic Foresight & Innovation at L'Oréal and Global Personal Care Analyst at Mintel. Mohamed Omer also has extensive experience with Unilever as a Principal Scientist and Colgate Palmolive as a Senior Research Scientist, in addition to working as a Forensic Criminalist III at NYPD. Educational achievements include a Corporate Innovation program at MIT Sloan School of Management and an MSc in Physical Chemistry from Iowa State University.
