Trisha MacDonald Cox is a seasoned educational professional with extensive experience in literacy instruction and teacher development. Currently a Research Associate at RMC Research Corporation, Trisha collaborates with the Region 7 Comprehensive Center as a state liaison to Alabama, managing the PreK-3 Literacy Project. Previous roles include serving as a K-5 English Language Arts Specialist and Coordinator of Professional Development at Moore County Schools, where Trisha provided support and training for teachers and instructional coaches. Trisha's career also includes positions such as K-12 Literacy Coach with Hoke County Schools and Regional Reading First Consultant for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, alongside earlier experiences as a teacher and literacy facilitator. Trisha holds a Master of Education in Elementary Education from UNC Charlotte and a Bachelor of Education from Pfeiffer University.
