Mufti Talha Ahmad Azami is an advisor at Rizq. Mufti has previously worked at KornChain Limited, Crypto Commodity Group, and Rasmala. At Rasmala, they worked as a member of the sharia supervisory board from January 2014 to December 2017. In this position, they were responsible for giving advice and evaluating various agreements, as well as issuing fatwas and auditing transactions in accordance with Sharia requirements. Some of their key transactions include the Rasmala GCC Islamic Equity Income Fund, the Rasmala Global Sukuk Fund, and the Rasmala Trade Finance Fund. Mufti Talha Ahmad Azami has also been instrumental in structuring and auditing numerous award-winning industry funds containing fatwas issued by him over many years.
Mufti Talha Ahmad Azami has a BA in Arabic and Islamic Studies from Nadwa Islamic University (India), an MA in Hadith Studies from Deoband Islamic University (India), and an MA in Islamic Banking Finance & Management from Loughborough University. Mufti also has a Certification from MIT Schwarzman College of Computing in Data Science and Machine Learning: Making Data-Driven Decisions, a Certification from Imperial College Business School in Mergers & Acquisitions, and a Certification from Columbia Business School in Chief Financial Officer Programme.
