Stelios Sapalidis serves as the Group Manufacturing Director EEME at Rivulis Irrigation since October 2016, where significant achievements include implementing a restructuring program across major plants, launching a joint venture in Russia, and achieving substantial cost reductions and increased throughput via rigorous quality management and re-engineering efforts. Prior to Rivulis, Stelios held various leadership roles, including Operational, Process Optimisation and Global Projects Director at Pioneer Food Cannery Ltd., where key accomplishments involved the implementation of advanced manufacturing systems and significant productivity improvements. An extensive career in manufacturing management started with roles in companies such as HelioSphera S.A. and Cream Line Romania SA, along with technical leadership at CHROSTIKI S.A. and ELVAL SA. Stelios holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA from the University of Wales, a Doctorate in Materials Science & Engineering from Queen Mary University of London, and a Master in Polymer Engineering from Cranfield University.
