Rich and his team are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of Riverview’s 18 dormitories, 5 academic buildings, 2 administrative buildings, cafeteria, gymnasium, and the School’s two businesses, Café Riverview and Second-View Thrift. In addition, the team manages 16+ acres of grounds, and a fleet of 24 vehicles.

After High School, Rich joined the US Air Force and upon completion of service, worked for a construction company running heavy equipment. He then moved to more specialized construction and frame to finish carpentry. He has 30 years of experience in the construction industry with an unrestricted construction supervisor’s license, grade 4 full wastewater treatment operator’s license, and HVAC & refrigeration certificates.

In addition, Rich has constructed single family homes, as well as hundreds of townhouses in master plan communities, as well and built and renovated many commercial properties. Just before coming to Riverview in 2014, Rich worked at the Green Company at the Pinehills, where he built the Boston Magazine dream home.
