James Emery is an experienced vehicle technician and prototype builder currently employed at Riversimple since January 2022, focusing on zero-emission personal transport. Prior roles include working as a prototype build technician/mechanic at Group Lotus, an automotive technician at e-ppl, and a test technician at Penlon Ltd, among others. James Emery has a diverse background in mechanical fitting and coaching, having held positions at Gemini Rail Group and Optare PLC, along with team leader responsibilities at e-ppl. James Emery began their career at Jaguar Land Rover as a production associate. Educational qualifications include a National Diploma in Forestry/Arboriculture from Holme Lacy College and prior studies at Sandwell Enterprise Centre and Bristnall Hall High School.
