Sherry Murillo is an experienced nursing education instructor currently serving at Riverside University Health System since August 2024. Previously, Sherry held roles as a clinical educator and patient safety officer/risk manager at Desert Regional Medical Center from March 2018 to August 2024, with additional experience as interim director of the medical-surgical floor and manager of a skilled nursing facility. Sherry's background includes working as a district clinical specialist at Acelity and a respiratory clinical science consultant at Boehringer Ingelheim, where Sherry was recognized as a President's Club Winner in 2015. Sherry's expertise extends to education and presentations on COPD, asthma, and atrial fibrillation, and Sherry is certified as a field and national trainer by the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC). Earlier roles include clinical consultant at Medtronic and specialty representative at Pfizer, focusing on pain management.
