Larry Gonzalez has a diverse work experience that ranges from being a professional baseball player for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 1987 to 1991 to working as a police officer for the City of Riverside from 1993 to 2015. Larry then joined the Riverside Police Department, where they held various positions, including Captain and Deputy Chief, before becoming the Chief of Police in September 2019.
Larry Gonzalez attended the FBI National Academy in 2008, where they completed Class #233. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2007, they studied at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, earning a Bachelor's degree in Workforce Development and Training.
