Giovanni Hernandez, EIT, currently serves as an Assistant Engineer at Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District since July 2022, previously holding the position of Junior Engineer. Giovanni is also the OC YMF Communications Committee Co-Chair for the American Society of Civil Engineers since October 2023. Prior experience includes an Engineering Intern role at SWT ENGINEERING LTD from February 2021 to July 2022, along with various leadership positions within the CPP ASCE Student Chapter and ITE CalPolyPomona, such as Outreach and Community Service Chair and Membership Chair respectively. Giovanni's professional journey began in retail at The Home Depot, where work experience spanned from August 2018 to January 2021. Giovanni holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, earned in 2022, and completed secondary education at Damien High School from 2013 to 2017.
