Sara Hemingway MSN, RN, NE-BC, ONC is an accomplished nursing leader with extensive experience in various healthcare roles. Currently serving as the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Med/Surg, Wound Care & Dialysis at Riverside Community Hospital since November 2020, Sara has also held positions including Nursing Manager for Oncology and Transplant. Previously, Sara worked as Clinic Manager for Denver Heart at HCA Healthcare Physician Services Group and held leadership roles at HealthONE, including Director of Surgical Cardiology Unit and Telemetry. With a solid background in managing busy trauma centers, along with responsibilities for hiring, budgeting, and employee coaching, Sara combines clinical expertise with an advanced education, holding a Master of Science in Executive Nurse Practice and Healthcare Leadership from Research College of Nursing and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Regis University. Sara's educational foundation is further complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
