Scott C. Sanders has a diverse work history. Scott C. started their career in 1994 as the Director of Business Development at RiverCity Sportswear, where they later became the Owner and CEO. During their time at RiverCity Sportswear, Scott increased annual sales from $500,000 to $5,000,000 and managed brand management for over 1000 clients nationwide. Scott C. also created and managed various merchandise campaigns, including those for the Governor of Texas Inauguration Ceremonies and actor Russell Crowe's band.

Scott C. then enrolled at Texas State University in 1988, where they studied business for two years but did not obtain a degree. Finally, Scott C. Sanders attended Texas Tech University from 1990 to 1993, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
