Alex Thurber serves as the Transition Chief Revenue Officer at Riverbed Technology since February 2022, focusing on Global Field Operations during the company's shift to an AI-Powered Unified Observability model. Prior to this role, Alex was the Senior Vice President of Global Alliances and Partners at Riverbed and has held several senior positions, including Chief Revenue Officer at Virtana Corp. and Pulse Secure, where responsibilities included overseeing revenue generation and go-to-market strategies. Alex's extensive background also includes leadership roles at BlackBerry, WatchGuard Technologies, Tripwire, McAfee, and Cisco Systems, contributing to transformative sales strategies and organizational improvements. In addition, Alex is a board member of the Tualatin Community Police Foundation, dedicated to enhancing community-police relations. Alex holds a Bachelor's degree, cum laude, in International Relations from Knox College.
