Dawn Sheffer has extensive experience in human resources. Dawn began their career as a Human Resources/Payroll Assistant at Hill and Dales in 1998 and held the position until 2000. Dawn then joined Southwest Health Center Inc. as the Manager of Human Resources from 2000 to 2007. Since 2007, they have been working at Rite-Hite, initially as a Human Resources Manager and currently as the Human Resources Director.

Dawn Sheffer pursued their education by attending the University of Wisconsin-Platteville from 1990 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Dawn then furthered their education at the same institution from 1995 to 1997, earning another Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources Management. Dawn also obtained additional certifications, including the SHRM-CP from SHRM in December 2015 and the Professional in Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in January 2002.
