John Schultz is a co-founder and principal at Rise Energy Services, an energy advisory and services company focused on helping energy consumers achieve sustainability goals while supporting energy companies and investors. Prior to this role, John Schultz served as president of Direct Energy Business, overseeing the B2B energy platform and wholesale energy trading. Earlier positions include vice president and head of the Eastern Region at Direct Energy, vice president of energy marketing operations at Hess Corporation, and various leadership roles at Statoil Energy, Inc. and The Eastern Group. John Schultz holds degrees from Penn State University and Harvard Business School.
