Nizar Hejazi is a highly skilled software engineer with extensive experience in machine learning and software development. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Rippling since January 2022, Nizar leads the development of Rippling Query Language (RQL) and real-time OLAP. Prior to this role, significant contributions were made at Uber as a Tech Lead on the Business Workflow Automation Platform (Flow) and Marketplace Matching (Uber Bus) teams, where machine learning engineering was also applied. Previous experience includes positions at Amazon on the Core Machine Learning team, Microsoft within Bing Ads and Azure Machine Learning Algorithms teams, and developing the Saudi National Diabetes Registry web application at King Saud University. Nizar holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Damascus University.
