Rahul Advani is an experienced policy professional with a strong background in regulatory engagement and advocacy within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Policy Director for APAC at Ripple since April 2021, Rahul leads efforts to interact with regulators and policymakers to foster innovation in digital assets and cross-border payments. Prior to this role, Rahul spent over five years at ISDA as Head of Public Policy for the Asia Pacific region, overseeing a team focused on regulatory matters, and held various leadership positions, contributing to significant advocacy efforts. Rahul's early career at Bloomberg LP included roles in sales and business management, where responsibilities encompassed establishing relationships with exchanges throughout Southeast Asia and ensuring accurate pricing for various financial instruments. Rahul earned a Master of Public Policy in Economic Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy between 2013 and 2015.
