Nitin Akbari is an experienced leader in DevSecOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure Engineering, currently serving as the Leader of Infrastructure Platform Engineering at Ripple since July 2021. Prior to this role, Nitin held the position of Director/Sr. Staff in Infrastructure, DevOps, and Release Engineering at Visa from September 2011 to June 2023, where leadership of a globally distributed engineering team focused on enhancing software delivery experiences across multiple groups. Nitin began professional career as a Build Release Engineer and Integration Engineer at Wells Fargo from April 2008 to September 2011. Educational qualifications include a Stanford Advanced Project Management Certification from Stanford University, an Engineer's Degree in Engineering from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya Engineering College, a Diploma in Engineering from Dr. Jivraj N Mehta Government Polytechnic in Gujarat, and a High School diploma in Science from Kamani Forward High School in Gujarat.
