Rick Hoskinson is a highly experienced Principal Engineer at Riot Games since June 2015, where Rick previously served as Tech Lead for the Hextech Engine, which powers League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics. Prior to Riot Games, Rick worked at Ubisoft from May 2010 to May 2015 as a Technical Architect, leading the development of online and multiplayer technologies for Splinter Cell: Blacklist and co-founding Ubisoft Toronto. Rick also held positions at Microsoft Advanced Technology Group and Microsoft DirectX SDK, focusing on game engineering and software development for Xbox 360 and online technologies. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Bucknell University, earned in 2001.
