Rishi Verma has over 20 years of extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as General Manager Technical Services at Rio Tinto since May 2007. Verma's diverse roles at Rio Tinto include Manager Mine Engineering and various managerial positions in Technical Services across multiple regions, including West Pilbara, East Pilbara, and Clermont Coal mine. Prior to this, Verma worked at Vedanta Resources Limited from June 2003 to May 2007, where responsibilities included Project Manager for Greenfield Expansion and Assistant Mine Manager for Production. Verma holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering from Jai Narain Vyas University, completed between 1999 and 2003.
