Pat Whiffen, PMP, has extensive experience in project and construction management, currently serving as Superintendent for Pellet Plant Maintenance at Rio Tinto since February 2017. Previously, Pat held roles including Project Manager and Shutdown Coordinator within the same organization. Prior to joining Rio Tinto, Pat worked as Construction Manager at Marshall Industries Ltd., overseeing various technical projects and managing key project responsibilities such as estimation, scheduling, and budget tracking. Earlier positions included Site Manager and General Foreman at Supermetal Structures Inc., focusing on project execution and quality assurance in construction. Pat holds a Certified Journeyman Interprovincial Certificate in Welding Technology from Keyano College and completed additional education at Memorial University in 2016.
