Miammi Leadbitter is an experienced mining professional currently serving as Mine Manager at Rio Tinto since December 2023. Previously, Miammi held various roles at BHP, including Improvement Manager and Superintendent positions, gaining extensive expertise in project delivery and drill and blast operations. Prior to BHP, Miammi worked as Technical Service Manager and Senior Engineer at a contractor, and held multiple roles at Macmahon, including Value In Use Manager and Mining Engineer. Miammi's career began as a Graduate Civil Engineer at the Shire of Collie. Miammi holds a Master of Mining Engineering and a Graduate Diploma in Mining Engineering from UNSW, alongside several relevant certifications and diplomas in engineering and safety.
