Lee French is an experienced hydrogeologist with a strong background in groundwater studies and water resource management. Currently serving as a Specialist Hydrogeologist at Rio Tinto, Lee has held multiple roles including Acting Senior Hydrogeologist and Operations Hydrogeologist, overseeing drilling programs and groundwater monitoring installations. Previous positions include Hydrogeologist at Water Technology Pty Ltd, Water Resource Officer at GWMWater, and Junior Hydrogeologist at AngloGold Ashanti, where responsibilities involved technical assessments, compliance, and hydrogeological modeling. Lee's earlier experiences range from environmental project management with VicRoads to ecological monitoring and conservation roles with Parks Victoria and Melbourne Water.
