Aleksandar Popovic is a seasoned professional in business development and consulting, currently serving as Principal Advisor at Rio Tinto since September 2019. Prior to this role, Aleksandar held the position of Principal Consultant at CRU from March 2012 to August 2019. Additional experience includes a brief tenure in European Governmental Affairs at BP and roles in Global Engineering at Roche and Renewable Energy Fund at OMV. Academically, Aleksandar holds a Master's degree in Advanced Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Warwick, complemented by the European Baccalaureate obtained at the European School Brussels in Uccle.
