Anthony Mazzola is an experienced law enforcement professional who has served as Sheriff for Rio Blanco County since January 2015. Prior to this role, Anthony held the position of President of the Board of Directors at White River Electric Association Inc. from September 2007 to January 2015 and served as Chief Investigator for the 9th Judicial District Attorney's Office from September 2008 to June 2014. Anthony's career in law enforcement began in May 1990 at the Rio Blanco County Sheriff's Office, where a progression from Undersheriff to various roles in jail, patrol, and investigations was achieved. Education was obtained at Colorado Northwestern Community College.
