Lee Waite serves as a Principal Forensic Biomechanics Consultant at Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc. since October 2016, contributing to one of the leading forensic engineering and consulting firms globally. Prior to this role, Lee held the position of Professor and Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology from July 1998 to July 2016, serving as department head from 1998 to 2011. Additionally, Lee was a Senior Fulbright Scholar at the University of Heidelberg in 2008-2009, where research focused on a mathematical model of blood flow through the mitral valve in the Experimental Heart Surgery Laboratory. Lee earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Iowa State University between 1983 and 1987.
