Bastiaan Kikkert currently serves as a biology and science teacher at Rijnlands Lyceum Sassenheim since August 2020, holding multiple roles including chairperson of the biology department, coordinator for Test-Correct, and beta coordinator ONZ. Previously, Bastiaan worked at VeenLanden College from August 2011 to August 2020, contributing as a BLS/AED instructor, chairperson of the biology department, and a first-grade biology teacher for upper secondary education. Additionally, teaching positions were held at Connect College and College Den Hulster between April 2007 and August 2007. Bastiaan's academic qualifications include a post-doctoral teacher training program in biology from Radboud University and a degree in Medical Biology from the same institution. A PhD experience at UMC Utrecht focused on the regeneration of hypoxic-ischemic brain damage in neonates.
