Mads Bak

Molecular Biologist at Rigshospitalet

Mads Bak is a molecular biologist with extensive experience in the field of genetics. Currently, Mads Bak holds the position of Molecular Biologist at Rigshospitalet since June 2017. Prior to this role, Mads Bak served as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at the University of Copenhagen from September 2011 to June 2017. Mads Bak also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Wilhelm Johannsen Centre for Functional Genome Research from 2008 to June 2011 and worked as a Research Assistant and Assistant Teacher at the University of Copenhagen in 2002. Earlier in Mads Bak's career, work included roles as a cleaner at ISS from 1996 to 1999 and a Long-John Bike Rider at Oasen from 1990 to 1992. Mads Bak obtained a PhD in Human/Medical Genetics and a Master's degree in Biology from the University of Copenhagen, along with earlier education from Roskilde University and Grydemoseskolen.
