Oshila Gunerathne has a number of years of experience in software development, primarily as a frontend developer. Oshila started their career at TWC Innovations in 2017, where they worked on creating and maintaining over 10 commercial websites for leading companies in Sri Lanka. In 2018, they joined Lanka Bell as a web designer, where they restructured the entire intranet website and updated and maintained various websites for Lanka Bell and its sub-companies. In 2020, Oshila worked at Oganro Ltd as a UI developer, building and maintaining booking engines for foreign clients and also developing WordPress plugins. Oshila then joined Eight Digitz as a frontend developer before moving to Ovinway in 2021 as a software engineer. At Ovinway, they were outsourced to WhiteHatJr / BYJU'S and worked on the main web app and backend dashboard as a frontend developer, as well as other web-related projects. Currently, Oshila is working at Right Stakes as a senior frontend developer, focusing on developing online games with Angular.

Oshila Gunerathne completed their Ordinary level and Advanced level education at Sripalee College in Horana from 2008 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at University College Dublin from 2014 to 2017.
