Troy Burk has an extensive work experience beginning in 1991. Troy worked at Furrow Building Materials as a Salesperson, where they helped customers find what they needed in the Paints, Tools, Hardware, Seasonal, and Flooring departments. In 1994, they became the Director of Chapter Services for Theta Chi Fraternity, where they visited over 30 chapters throughout the mid-Atlantic region as a Leadership and Education Consultant. In 1997, they were the Director of Alumni Programs/Technology for the Ball State University Alumni Association, where they were responsible for driving alumni participation through the use of technology. In 1998, they were a Recruiter for MRI in the CRM/Software field. In 1999, they were a Business Development Manager for MCS Consultants. In 2000, they were an Account Executive for Onvia/DemandStar, where they sold e-Procurement software solutions to governmental agencies within Indiana, Michigan, and Kentucky. In 2001, they were a Sales Director for ExactTarget. In 2010, they were the President of the Indiana Interactive Marketing Association (IIMA). In 2006, they founded and became the CEO of Right On Interactive, a Customer Lifecycle Marketing software company focused on helping marketers attract and acquire best-fit customers for life.
Troy Burk attended Vincennes University from 1989 to 1991, earning an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. Troy then attended Ball State University from 1991 to 1994, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Marketing, and Sociology. Finally, they attended Ball State University from 1997 to 1998, studying at the Center for Information and Communication Sciences (CICS).
