Rob Bakker is an experienced professional in the fields of financial crime, integrity, and compliance. Currently serving as an Advisor for FEC/AML/Ondermijning at RIEC Amsterdam-Amstelland since June 2023, Rob has also been a lecturer in Integrity at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate since 2001. Previous roles include Head of Special Investigations at ING, Senior Advisor for Financial Investigations at the Gemeente Amsterdam, and Partner/Director for Compliance, Forensics, and Intelligence at Control Risks. Rob co-founded Integrity Europe and played a pivotal role in its emphasis on cross-border cooperation. With earlier experience as a Manager at KPMG and a Financial Investigator in the Amsterdam police, Rob holds a CAMS certification from ACAMS and a degree from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
