Ben Nielsen has a robust background in healthcare management, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Ridgeview Medical Center since February 2010, following roles as Vice President of Ambulatory Services and Executive Director. Prior to this, Ben held the position of Director of Waconia Cardiology at Abbott Northwestern Hospital from 2006 to 2010 and was a Manager at the Minneapolis Heart Institute at Abbott Northwestern Hospital from 2002 to 2006. Ben's career in the healthcare field began as a Financial Analyst at Medica from 2000 to 2002. Educationally, Ben obtained a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, after earning a degree from Concordia College.
