Dylan Mitchell has work experience in multiple roles at different companies. Dylan began their career at IOMAXIS in 2016, starting as an IT Intern and gaining experience in various IT areas such as networking, vulnerability scanning, and Linux usage. Dylan then transitioned to the role of Junior Security Engineer, where they focused on security measures until July 2018. From July 2018 to November 2020, Dylan worked as a Junior Linux Systems Engineer at IOMAXIS, managing Linux systems and using Ansible to streamline deployment processes. In December 2020, they joined Ridgeline International, Inc. as a DevOps Engineer.

Dylan Mitchell obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a specialty in Networking and Cybersecurity from Marymount University, which they attended from 2014 to 2017. In addition to their degree, Dylan has received several certifications. In 2017, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce certification from CompTIA and the Splunk Certified User certification from Splunk. In 2018, Dylan obtained the Splunk Certified Power User and Splunk Certified Admin certifications from Splunk, as well as the Introduction to Linux Academy certification from Linux Academy. In 2019, they obtained the CompTIA Network+ ce certification from CompTIA and the Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) certification from Red Hat, along with the Ansible Quick Start certification from Linux Academy. In 2020, Dylan obtained the Red Hat Certified Engineer Prep Course certification from Linux Academy, and they recently obtained the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification from Red Hat in 2021.
